The Dawn's awake by Otto Leland Bohanan. Sumnary

I think that the poem The Dawn’s Awakening is about how people went to war and now the war is over. When it says, “ Music is singing in the hills” I think that it means that the war is over and now the hills are filled with fresh air and happiness. When it says,” Torch of god is borne.” I think that it is a metaphor and that it means that since the war is over the sun came out. When it says that I also imagine the morning in the hills and the sun is just coming over one of the hills. When it says,” The dawn of a thousand dreams and thrills.” I think that it symbolises how after war, the people that survived, their dreams start to come true and they start to get hope of getting better. Over all I think that the poem is about people that went to war, and now the war is over, and when they are back, they start to feel happy.
