The days in desert are very hot because of hot sun and dry blowing winds which as a combined effect heat up the sand which is good conductor of heat as a combined result we get exterm hot temperature during days in desert.
During the night there remains no sun due to which the sand drops it temperature very rapidly these change in temperature creates high and low pressure areas due to winds blows which again decrease the temperature.
here, sand in desert heat's as well as cools down very rapidly.
hence, The days in desert are very hot while nights are very cold.
