Debating is one of the oldest methods of competitions which help participants in boosting their confidence level, finding out about different perspectives and much more. There are certain  guidelines regarding  debates competition which must be followed at any cost,  or would lead to the disqualification of the candidate/ participant on many occasions. For instance, debator must provide correct age and name while participating and be in the correct age group.  Usually, the debate of each participant should not exceed 3 minutes. It happens in installments, like after 2 minutes there rings one bell, after 3 minutes another bell gets rung which would be the final bell, which usually indicates the time  elapsing. After the final bell if participant continues to speak after finished time, negative marking gets done.Any content in the debate must not include any political, religious, discriminatory against anyone, or it may lead to immediate disqualification. This is the strictest rule to be followed usually.
