THE DECIMAL EXPANSION OF THE NUMBER 14753/1250 WILL TERMINATE AFTER HOW MANY DECIMALS?

CAN anyone tell me why we multipled both by 8?
Is 8 their hcf

We have to make the denominator the power of 10 i.e 10^1, 10^2, 10^3 etc.

So, we multiplied 1250 by 8 as it's 10000 aka 10^5

When denominator is in power of 10, we can make it decimal easily...

For example, you know that 1/2=0.5

Here also, we multiply 1/2×5/5=5/10=0.5
