The deceleration of Independence was approved by the Second continental congress on July 4, 1776.

By succeeding the First Continental Congress, the Second Continental Congress moved steadily towards the independence by controlling the colonial war efforts. The second Continental congress declared the creation of new country which made the united colonies completely independent from British rule. This deceleration ultimately led to the formation of the United States Of America.
