simple question dude
molality=moles of solute/mass of solvent(in lg)
molarity=molesof solute/volume of solution
let the volume,of solution be unit litre
then,in that case
3=moles of solute/volume of solution
moles of solute=3
mass of the solute=3×40 (1mols of NaCl=40g)
=120g=.12kg
since volume is taken as 1unit L,so
mass of liquid=1250g or 1.25kg
mass of solvent=mass of solution-mass of solute
=1.25-.12=1.13kg
now molality=3/1.13
=300/113
=2.65m(mole/kg)
