when it is tied the ordinary flow of blood is disturbed and the rate of flow is decreased
so heart has to give more pressure to the blood so that it keeps running
so more amount of blood reaches the arteries causing the bulge
in the case of being tired too the body needs more oxygen thus more blood has to reach there so blood pumps more blood faster to that region casing small bulging
