The degree of closeness of the measured value of a certain quantity with its true value is known as Accuracy. Basically Accuracy is the ability of any instrument to measure the correct value. It is the closeness of the measured value to a standard or true value. Accuracy is obtained in many ways, one of them is by taking small readings since it reduces the mistake/ error of calculating.
Now there are 3 ways to measure Accuracy:
1. Point accuracy: Measure of accuracy at a particular point of time or particular point on scale is POINT ACCURACY.
2. Accuracy as per percentage of value: Accuracy of such instruments is done by indentifying measured value of true value.
3. Accuracy as percentage of per scale range:
This is determined on the basis of the uniform scale range.
