The Delhi Sultan Qutubuddin Aibak fell from a horse and died  while playing Polo.

Explanation:

  • Qutab ud din Aibak laid the foundation of Delhi sultanate, who proclaimed himself to be the Sultan of Turkish territories and established Delhi as the capital.Though he played an important role in controlling internal revolts, he died early and the dynasty was later carried by his son's Arambaksh son in law Iltumish. Iltumish was a prominent ruler of the Delhi sultanate. He was conferred the title of Sultan by the caliph of Baghdad, which indeed helped him. As royal title gave his authority and rule a legal basis. and backing .It enabled him to consolidate his authority over the Delhi's seat. It allowed him to gain succession of his children over the seat. He also had to send military campaigns to establish control over Awadh, Badaun, and to regulate Hindu chieftains.  Iltumish also faced the threat from the Mongols led by Chingiz Khan and therefore in order to prevent the sultanate from the Mongols attacks.he did not grant shelter to the crown prince  Khwarazm,In order to consolidate his power he had to deal with Ghiyasuddin  in the east and with Qabacha in the west.

In 1210, he accidentally fell from horse and he died when the pommel of the saddle pierced his ribs.
