The delta region of the eastern coast is frequently struck by cyclones because the stromy activities which emerge at the Andaman Sea and normally they cross the Eastern Coasts of India.

They are very destructive and result in heavy rains.

They cause huge loss of life and property.the dense deltas of Krishna and Godavari rivers are mostly affected by cyclones and cause great damage.
