Let the numerator of the fraction be x

Denominator be = x+2

Original fraction = x / x+2

ACCORDING TO THE PROBLEM

x+1 / x+2+1 = 2/3

x+1 / x+3 = 2/3

3 ( x+1 ) = 2 ( x+3 )

3x+3 = 2x+6

3x-2x = -3+6

x = 3

Numerator = 3

Denominator = x+2

3+2=5

original fraction = 3/5 ..

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let numerator be x

So fraction is x/x+2

x+1/x+2+1=2/3

x+1/x+3=2/3

After cross multiplying you will get:-
