Hi friend,

Here is your answer,
______________________________________________________________

Let the numerator be x.

The original fraction will be    x
                                          2x+4
   x-6      =
2x+4-6      12

=>  x-6    =   1
   2x-2       12

=> 12x-72  = 2x-2

=> 10x = 70

=> x = 7

The original fraction is   7
                                    18
