denominator= x+7

fraction= x/x+7

now..3 is deducted from numerator and denominator

fraction become= x-3/x+7-3

= x-3/x+4

According to fraction fraction obtained is 2/3

so..

x-3/x+4= 2/3

now cross multiply

3(x-3)=2(x+4)

3x-9=2x+8

3x-2x=8+9

x=17

numerator= 17

denominator= 17+7=24

fraction= 17/24
