Let the numerator be x and the denominator be x+7.

\frac{x+2}{x+7-3} = \frac{3}{5}

\frac{x+2}{x+4} =\frac{3}{5}

5(x+2) = 3(x+4)\\

5x+10 = 3x+12\\5x-3x = 12-10\\2x = 2\\x = 1

Numerator = 1

Denominator = 8

\underline{Fraction = \frac{1}{8}}
