4

\huge\cal\purple{Given\;:-}

Let the numerater be x, then the denominator will be x + 4.

And,

\frac{x + 4}{x + 4 + 4 } = \frac{4}{6} \\ \\ \frac{x + 4}{x + 8}  = \frac{4}{6} \\ \\ 6 ( x + 4 ) = 4 ( x + 8 ) \\ 6x + 24 = 4x + 32 \\ 6x - 4x = 32 - 24 \\ 2x = 8 \\ x = 8 \div 2 \\ x = 4

Therefore,\;x = 4\;means\;that\; \frac{4 }{4 + 8} \\ \\= \frac{4}{8}\;is\;the\;original\;fraction.

By Cancelling, the above numbers we will get :-

\huge\frac{1}{2}
