Step-by-step explanation:

Let the numerator be X

Denominator be 2x–1

Fraction =

 \frac{x}{2x - 1}

Now, 1 is added to both, new fraction=

 \frac{x + 1}{2x - 1 + 1}  \\  =  > \frac{x + 1}{2x}

According to question, we get,

 \frac{x + 1}{2x}  =  \frac{3}{5} \\  =  > 5(x + 1) = 3 \times 2x \\  =  > 5x + 5 = 6x \\  =  > 6x - 5x = 5 \\  =  > x = 5

Now, fraction =

 \frac{x}{2x - 1} \\   =  \frac{5}{10 - 1}  \\  =  \frac{5}{9}  \\ thus \: required \: \: answer \: is \:  \frac{5}{9}

Numerator = x

Denominator = 2x − 1

x + 1 / 2x - 1 + 1 = 3/5

x + 1 / 2x = 3/5

5x + 5 = 6x

x = 5

Fraction is 5/9
