Hello friend
__________________________
According to the first condition
y = 2x + 1
: 2x + y = 1 ...............( i )
According to the second condition
x + 1/y+1 = 1/2
: 2(x + 1) = 1(y + 1)
2x + 2 = y + 1
2x - y = 1 - 2
2x - y = -1 ................( ii )
There can be infinite values tha will satisfy.One such possible values is
x = 4 and y = 9
Therefore, the fraction is 4/9
I hope this will helps you...
