5
Let numerator be x
Denominator=2x-2
ATP
x+1/2x-2+1=3/5
5 (x+1 )=3 (2x-1)
5x+5=6x-3
-x=-8
x=8
Numerator is 8
Denominator is 2x-2
=2*8-2
=14
So fraction=Numerator/Denominator
=8/14

xyz75: I think my answer is correct
AMITDASH: i dont knopw
xyz75: Numerator is 8 and denominator is 2 minus twice of numerator which is 2 minus 2*8=14 in this way I can prove my answer .Again if you add 1 to 8/14 it will give 9/15 which will give 3/5 when reduced by 3.And in question it is given when we add 1 to the fraction it will give 9/15.So this is the second way of proving my answer.
xyz75: In question it is written it will give 3/5 which is obtained by reducing 9/15.
xyz75: So my answer must b right
