Let the numerator be x
Then the denominator will be x+2
ATQ
=>x+1/x+2+1=2/3
=>x+1/x+3=2/3
=>3 (x+1)=2 (x+3)
=>3x+3=2x+6
=>3x-2x=6-3
=>x=3

The fraction is 3/5.

Answer:

\frac{3}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the numerator be x

We are given that the denominator of a fraction is 2 more than its numerator.

So, Fraction = \frac{x}{x+2}

Now we are given that if one is added to both the numerator and their denominator the fraction becomes 2/3,

So, \frac{x+1}{x+2+1}=\frac{2}{3}

\frac{x+1}{x+3}=\frac{2}{3}

3(x+1)=2(x+3)

3x+3=2x+6

3x-2x=6-3

x=3

So, numerator = 3

Denominator = x+2=3+2=5

Fraction: \frac{3}{5}
