the denominator of a fraction is 2 more than its numerator. 7 is added to numerator and 2 is substracted from denominator,the fraction becomes 2.Find the fraction​

Answer:

the n\: denominator =( x + 2)

Atq,

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \frac{x + 7}{(x + 2)  - 2}  = 2 \\  =  >  \frac{x + 7}{x}  = 2 \\  =  > x + 7 = 2x

 =  > x - 2x =  - 7

  =  > - x =  - 7

 =  > x = 7

Hence, required fraction  =  \frac{7}{9}
