Let thr numrrator of a fraction be x
Then denominator of the fraction will be (x+2)
If 1 is added to both, the fraction will be as:
(x+1)/(x+3) = 2/3
3 (x+1) = 2 (x+3)
3x +3 = 2x + 6
3x - 2x = 6 - 3
x = 3.
Therefore,
Nunerator, x =3 &
Denominator, x + 2 = 3+2 =5
Hence,
Required fraction = 3/5. Ans.
