Hello dear!!!
Here's your answer...
Let,
The numerator be x
And denominator is 3 more than numerator.
Denominator is x+3
The fraction is x/x+3
So,
If 2 is added to numerator and 5 is added to denominator the fraction becomes 1/2
x+2/x+3+5=1/2
x+2/x+8=1/2
Cross multiplication
2(x+2)=x+8
2x+4=x+8
2x-x=8-4
x=4
So, the numerator is 4
And denominator is 3 more than numerator.
Denominator=4+3=7
So,the fraction is 4/7
Hope this helps you....
