The denominator of a fraction is 4 more than its numerator and subtract 1 from its numerator and denominator the fraction becomes 1 by 2 find the original fraction

x/x+4
x-1/x+4-1=1/2
x-1/x+3=1/2
2x-1=x+3
2x-x=3+1
x=4
the original one will be 4/8=1/2
