let the numerator be x

denominator is is 2 x + 4

x-6/(2x-4)-6 when 6 is reduced

=x-6/2x-10

as we know

denominator denominator is 12 times numerator thus

2x-10=12(x-6)

2x-10=12x-72

62=10x

x=6.2

fraction=6.2/8.4=31/42...(ans)
