Step-by-step explanation:

Let X be the numerator of the fraction and Y be the denominator of the fraction.

Let X be the numerator of the fraction and Y be the denominator of the fraction.The fraction is x

y

According to the 1st condition,

According to the 1st condition,The denominator of the fraction is 4 more than the twice it's numerator.

y = 2x+4

-2x+y = -4 ------------(I)

According to the 2nd condition,

According to the 2nd condition,Denominator becomes 12 times the numerator , if both the numerator and denominator is reduced by 6.

y-6 = 12(x-6)

y-6 = 12x-72

-12x+y = -72+6

-12x+y = -66 ------------(II)

Adding equation (l) and (II)

2x-y = 4

2(7)-y = -4

14-y = -4

-y = -4-14

-y = 18

y = 18

Therefore , the fraction is 7 .
