Hello Dear!!!

Here's your answer...

Given that,

The denominator of a fraction is 4 more than twice its numerator

numerator is x

denominator is 2x+4

Denominator becomes 12 times the numerator if both the numerator and the denominator reduced by 6

x - 6/ 2x-2 = x/12x

12x(x-6) = x(2x-2)

12x² - 72x = 2x² - 2x

12x² - 2x² = -2x+72x

10x² = 70x

10x² - 70x = 0

10x(x-7) = 0

x-7 = 0/10x

x-7 = 0

x = 7

The numerator is 7

denominator is 2x+4 = 2(7) +4

denominator is 18

fraction is 7/18

Let the numerator be x and denominator be y

Given y = 2 x + 4

Also, y - 6 = 12(x - 6)

Substituting y = 2 x + 4

2 x + 4 - 6 = 12 x - 72

2 x - 2 = 12 x - 72

10 x = 70

x = 7

y = 2 x + 4 = 18

So, fraction is 7 / 18
