let the numerator be x
so the denominator is 2x+4
so the fraction is :  \frac{x}{2x+4}
 when 6 is decreased frm both numerator and denominator
fraction becomes :  \frac{x-6}{2x-2}
Atq,
2x-2=12(x-6)
⇒2x-2=12x-72
⇒10x=70
⇒x=7
so the fraction is 7/18
