let x and x+5 be the numerator and denominator respectively.

By the question, we have

(x+11)/(x+5+11)=5/6

=>(x+11)/(x+16)=5/6

=>(x+11)6=(x+16)5

=>6x+66=5x+80

=>x=80-66

=>x=14

Therefore, the numerator is 14 and the denominator is 14+5 ie. 19.
