the denominator of a fraction is greater than its numerator by 2 . if 4 is added to the numerator and 9 to the denominator ,the new fraction with 1upon two .find the fraction

Let the numerator is x
So Denominator is x +2

ATQ
 \frac{x + 4}{x + 2 + 9}  =  \frac{1}{2}  \\  \\ 2(x + 4) = 1(x + 11) \\  \\ 2x + 8 = x + 11 \\  \\ 2x - x = 11 - 8 \\  \\ x = 3
Therefore fraction is

 =  \frac{3}{3 + 2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{3}{5}
