as We know ,

x/1+x = the fraction

now , x/(1+x) + (1+x)/x = 34/15

(2x^2 + 2x + 1 )/(1+x)x =34/15

30x^2 + 30x + 15 = 34x^2 + 34x

4x^2 + 4x - 15 = 0

4x^2 + 10x - 6x -15 = 0

2x ( 2x + 5 ) - 3 ( 2x + 5 ) = 0

so , x = 3/2 , -5/2

But , it can't be -5/2 as , sum of reciprocal is positive ...

Hence... 3/2
