The denominator of a rational number is 3 more than twice its numerator. If 5 is added to the numerator and the denominator is increased by 2,the number becomes2/3.find the rational number?

let the rational no be x
5+2x/ x+3+2=2/3
5+2x/5+x= 2/3
15+6x= 10
+2x
5=-4x
x=-4/5
so the rational no.. -4/5
-0.8
