Then Denominator= x-5

x-9/ x-5+1 = 7/2

or, 2x- 18 = 7x -28

or, 2x- 7x = -28-18

or, - 5x = -10

or, x = -10/-5

x = 2

Rational number= 2/ 2-5

= 2/-3
