Let numerator be x denominator be y
Y is greater than x by 3
Y=x+3
3 is subtrqcted from x qnd 2 is added to y
X-3/y+2 = 1/5
Putting value of y
X-3/x+5=1/5
Cross multiplying
5x-15=x+5
5x-x=5+15
4x=20
X=5
Therefore y =8
Ie 5/8
