let rational number in the form of x/y
a/c to question,
y = x +3 -----(1)

again,
(x +14)/( y -3) = 11/4

4x +56 = 11y -33

4x + 56 = 11(x +3) -33 { from equation (1)
4x +56 = 11x +33 -33
7x = 56
x =8
so, y = x +3 = 11

hence rational number = 8/11
