the denominator of a rational number is greater than its numerator by 3 if numerator is increased by 14 and denominator is decreased by 3 the new number become 11 by 4 what is the original number​

x/x+3

x+14/x+3-3=11/4

x+14/x=11/4

4(x+14)=11x

4x+56=11x

56=11x-4x

56=7x

x=56/7

x=8

therefore x/x+3

8/8+3=8/11
