Answer:

Suppose that

Numerator = x

Denominator= x+4

Rational number = x/x+4

According to the Question

x + 1 / x+ 4+3=1/2

x+1 /x+7= 1/2

2(x+1)= 1(x+7)

2x+2=x+ 7

2x-x=7-2

x=5

Therefore ,Rational number = x/x+4

=5/5+4

= 5/9

  • The rational number

{\blue{\bold{\underline{\underline{Solution:-}}}}}

Let the numerator be x

•°•the denominator be x+4

•°•The number will be \mathsf{ \dfrac{x}{x+4}}

According to the Q

\mathsf{ \dfrac{x+1}{x+4+3}}=\mathsf{ \dfrac{1}{2}}

\implies2x+2=x+7

\implies2x-x=7-2

\impliesx=5

•°•The numerator will be 5

•°•The denominator will be 9

•°•The rational number will be 5/9
