The denominator of a rational number is greater than its numerator by 2. If

the numerator is decreased by 3 and the denominator is increased by 1,

the number obtained is ¼. Find the rational number.

Answer:

numerator- x

denominator- x+2

new numerator- x-3

New denominator- x+3

and ATP

we get the answer 5
