The denominator of a rational number is greater than its numerator by 7 if 3 is subtracted from the numerator and 2 is added to its numerator ,the new number becomes 1 by 5 find the rational number?

let ,the fraction be x/x+7
according to questions
x-3 /x+7+2 =1/5
then cross multiply
5(x-3) =x+9
change the side
5x-x = 9+15
4x =24
x=6
the questions is small wrong there is 2 us added to it's denominator
