Let the original rational number be X / Y .
Y = X + 7
B.G.C
X + 17 / X + 7 - 6 = 2
X + 17 / X + 1 = 2
2X + 2 = X + 17
2 X - X = 17 - 2
X = 15
Y = 15 + 7 = 22.
Rational number = 15 / 22.

Hii...☺

Here is your answer.....

==================================

⚫ Let the numerator be "x"

Therefore, denominator = x + 7

According to question we have,

→ x + 17 / x + 7 - 6 = 2

→ x + 17/ x + 1 = 2

→ x + 17 = 2 ( x + 1 )

→ x + 17 = 2x + 2

→ 2x - x = 17 - 2

→ x = 15

Numerator = 15

Denominator = x + 7 = 15 + 7 = 22

Therefore, the original number = 15/22
