Heya !!!

Let the Numerator of fraction be X.

Denominator of fraction = ( X +4)

Fraction = Numerator/Denominator = X/X+4

Numerator is increased by 11 new numerator = ( X+11) and Denominator is decreased by 1 new denominator = ( X+4 -1) = ( X+3)

New fraction = Numerator/Denominator = ( X+11)/ ( X+3)

According to question,

( X+11 ) / ( X+3) = 7/3

By cross multiplication, we have

3 ( X+11) = 7 ( X+3)

3X + 33 = 7X + 21

7X - 3X = 33 - 21

4X = 12

X = 12/4 = 3

Numerator = X = 3

And,

Denominator = ( X +4) = ( 3+4) = 7

Fraction = Numerator/Denominator = 3/7.

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.... :-)
