Answer

  • Let the numerator of the rational number be x
  • Denominator = x + 8

☞Rational number =x / x+8

  • Given,

☞ x + 17 / x + 8 - 1 = 3 / 2

☞ 2x + 34 = 3x + 21

☞ 34 - 21 = 3x - 2x

☞ 13 = x

☞ x = 13

➜Therefore,

13 / 13 + 8 = 13 / 21

Answer

Let the numerator of the rational number be x

Denominator = x + 8

☞Rational number =x / x+8

Given,

☞ x + 17 / x + 8 - 1 = 3 / 2

☞ 2x + 34 = 3x + 21

☞ 34 - 21 = 3x - 2x

☞ 13 = x

☞ x = 13

➜Therefore,

13 / 13 + 8 = 13 / 21
