5(X-3)=1(Y+2)

5X-15=Y+2

5X-Y=2+15

5X-Y=17

5(Y+3)-Y=17

5Y+15-Y=17

5Y-Y=17-15

4Y=2

Y=2%4=1/2

Put value of Y in eq 1st

X=1/2+3

X=7/2
