so fraction is x/(x+3)

adding 5 to both num and den

gives =>

(x+5)/(x+8) = 4/5

cross multiplying =>

(x+5)5 = (x+8)4

5x-4x = 32-25

x = 7

so required fraction is ,

7/7+3. = 7/10
