TooFree: Should the question be this instead?

The denominator of a fraction is 4 more than twice the numerator. When both the numerator and denominator are decreased by 6, then the denominator becomes 12 times the numerator.

let that no. be x/1

atq,

x/1+4 - 6 = x / 2(1)-6

x/ 5. - 6. = x /2 -6

x/ 5 - x /2 = -6 +6

(6x - 5x) / 30. = 0

x. = 0×30

=0
