Answer:

Let the numerator of fraction be X.

Denomination = ( X - 5)

Fraction = Numerator/Denominator = X/X-5.

According to question,

X + 5 / X -5 = 11/6

X + 5/ X-5 = 11/6

6 ( X + 5) = 11(X-5)

6X + 30 = 11X-55

11X - 6X = 30+55

5X = 85

X = 85/5 = 17

Therefore,

Numerator = X = 17

And,

Denominator = X - 5 = 17-5 = 12

Fraction = Numerator/Denominator = 17/12

Answer:

Let the numerator be x

than denominator is x-5

now,x/x-5

If 5 added to numerator

x+5/x-5=11/6

now cross multiiply

6(x+5)=11(x-5)

6x+30=11x-55

11x-6x=55-30

5x=25

x=25/5

x=5
