Hey there!
The relation between the molarity and molality is given by :
M = m* 1000 *density
---------------------------
( m*WA +W')
Where; M = molarity
m = molality
WA =molecular mass of solute
W'= weight of solvent
1.2 molal means 1.2 moles in 1000 g of solvent.
Hence, the values according to the question are :
m = 1.2
Density = 1.25gml-1
WA= 60 gm
W' = 1000 gm
☞M = 1.2*1000*1.25/ (1.2*60 +1000)
= 1.4 M (approx)
#hope it helps! :)
