The density of a material is 8000 kg/m3 and the density of water is 1000 kg/m3. If a cube of steel that is 10 cm on each side is placed in a tank of water and weighed while underwater, what is the apparent weight of the cube? I will mark the best answer brainliest!!!

Answer:

weight of cube is 9.8N

firstly convert 10cm into m

10/100=0.1

relative density = density of cube / density of water

m/0.001/1000

m=1000×0.001

m=1

weight =mass×acceleration due to gravity

w= 1×9.8

w=9.8N
