the density of a solid is greater than the density of a liquid does this statement holds for all solid and liquid justify your answer​

Answer:

No this statement does not hold for all solid and liquid.

It is because if we tear a page from copy or other else and keep it in liquid i.e water, it will float.This means that density of solid is less water that's why it has floated.

CONCLUSION: If density of object less than density of water, it will float otherwise it will sink.
