PV = nRT

n= m/M (given weight / mol. wt.).

=> PV = (m/M)RT

PM =(m/V)RT

PM =DRT ( D= density)

since , 1atm = 760 mm of Hg => 1520 mm of Hg = 2 atm

0°C = 273 K

R =0.0821 litre-atm/K-mol

M of CO2= 12+(2×16)= 44 g

putting the values,

2×44= D × 0.0821×273

D = (2×44)/(0.0821×273)

D= 3.926 gram /litre
