  • As per ideal gas law, PV = nRT. Number of moles is written as weight (w)/ molecular weight (MW). Writing number of moles in the equation, PV = wRT/MW. Further, density is written as mass/volume. Adding this in new equation, d = PM/RT.

  • Now as per this equation, the density is directly proportional to pressure and inversely proportional to temperature. Thus, density will be lowest at high temperature and low pressure.
